Born out of the World Economic Forum, the Global Shapers Community is a network of inspiring young people driving dialogue, action and change.
The Global Shapers are an association of independent and nonpartisan volunteers born in 2012 on the initiative of the international organization World Economic Forum, to put in worldwide communication a generation of extraordinary young people and involve them in social change processes.
To this end, the WEF has selected in the major cities of the world the best young people between 20 and 30 years. The profile of the chosen ones? They have achieved outstanding results in their fields of interest, they have strong leadership skills and a desire to contribute to the improvement of the society in which they live.
The groups thus formed (called "hubs") are managed independently by these young people coming from many different professional and academic fields (economists, architects, musicians, lawyers, engineers, etc ...) that are committed to find every day time and energy to carry out projects social impact, aimed at bringing change.
