Lugano Dona is a joint initiative with the other hubs in Switzerland (Zurich, Bern, Luzern, and Geneva). The purpose of the project is to give a welcome message to asylum seekers in Canton Ticino, offering them useful gifts during the holiday season (around Christmas), accompanied by a card prepared by our volunteers. Currently, the beneficiaries of the project are the guests of the centers in Cadro, Castione, and Paradiso.

 Our Shapers are responsible for the organization and implementation of the project, contacting the centers, establishing a list of necessities, collecting donations, finding the gifts, and wrapping them. Each year, more than 250 refugees receive essential goods, including about 70 children.
